Canadian Association for Community Living EVP Michael Bach talks about how the Community Living movement was born in Canada and beyond. In this video by Community Living Ontario he speaks about our movements grassroots evolution from a group of families coming together in Montreal in the late 1930s, to its growth today as a national movement that stands for inclusion and equality for people living with intellectual disabilities and their families in 2015. Michael also addresses the long road ahead of work that still needs to be achieved to reach some of these goals and how much things have changed for the movement over the decades.
